If your network adapter shows up in the Device Manager but doesn’t show up in the Network Connections, try to uninstall and re-install it. You may need to check your NIC on another computer (if possible) or check its functionality at the service center (it may be broken). Then check that your network card is physically connected to your computer/laptop and is enabled in BIOS/UEFI settings.
If the list of network adapters is empty and there are no unknown devices on your computer, search for the devices in the Device Manager (Action -> Scan for hardware changes). Thus, you can identify your NIC, download, and install its driver. For example, PCI\VEN_14E4&DEV_43A0 is Broadcom wireless network adapter. Find the VID and PID of the unknown device (Properties -> Details -> Hardware IDs). and noticed that all versions of OpenGL past 1.0 were missing somehow. PLEASE HELP Alright, so this all started today after I updated to the latest Nvidia driver: Version: 385.28 WHQL. If Windows could not detect a device, you need to identify it manually. (Windows 10) GT 710 is not listed under Display Adapters in device manager and can't install drivers for it. In HWinfo it detects my GPU but some info is unknown. I am unable to install the drivers for the gpu as device manager wont detect it so nvidia thinks I dont have a GPU. The GPU is actually on in my pc with the rgb working and fans spinning.
Windows should detect the device and install the appropriate drivers. The GPU is listed as 'PCI Device' under other devices in device manager. Try to perform an automatic driver search. Make sure that automatic driver updates is enabled in Windows.
